News:: Destiny 2 PC beta receives date and system requirements

Following on from successful console tests last week. Bungie have announced the date for Destiny 2's PC beta. Along with system requirements need to throw down with the sci-fi shooter.

The beta will contain the same content from last week's console session, so there will be no open-world fun on offer, but PvP and the game's first mission will be available. Pre-order customers will be able to unleash space fury on August 28, when the closed beta launches, it will then be made open to all-comers on the 29th, before finally coming to a close on the 31st.

The hardware requirements to play are as follows, these are obviously subject to change before the game's final release:

Minimum Spec:
CPU: Intel Core i3-3250/ AMD FX-4350.
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD7850 2GB.
RAM: 6GB.

Recommended Spec:
CPU: Intel Core i5-2400/AMD Ryzen R5 1600X.
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970/AMD Radeon R9 390.
RAM: 8GB.

Destiny 2 launches on PC October 24, after its console brethren, which will get the game September 6.
