Accounting is a loving collaboration between Crows Crows Crows (The Stanley Parable's William Pugh and Dominik Johann) and Squanchtendo (Rick and Morty's Justin Roiland), and oh gosh it looks weird as heck. If you own an HTC Vive, you ought to look into downloading the game -- it's free on Steam.

These videos, you guys. You guys. I feel like this is one of those games where the less that's said, the better. The Steam reviews are encouraging. "To be honest, this is some good quality stuff," says user BOLL. "Good stuff. If you got VR, you gotta get in on this. Oh, and if you're uh, like, not a kid."

Earlier this year, Stardock brought back Master of Orion, and it didn’t go so well. Here’s hoping their next space reboot, Star Control: Origins, goes a little better.

CBS announced on Tuesday that it is teaming up with King Games and Lionsgate to produce the hour-long series. Details on game mechanics are still sparse but the network did explain that 2-person teams will "use their wits and physical agility to compete on enormous, interactive game boards." The series will be executive produced by Matt Kunitz, the guy behind Fear Factor and Wipeout, however there's no word yet on who will host or when the series will premier.

When Cing closed its doors in 2010, it was pretty devastating. It was a great developer, using Nintendo's gimmicks without distracting the player from well-written, heartfelt stories. Its best work will always be the Kyle Hyde mysteries - Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Last Window: The Secret of Cape West - which still remain, in my mind at least, the purest representation of neo-noir in video games.
So it was actually a joy to see Kaisuke Tanasaki, director of Hotel Dusk, along with several key Cing alumi, come in from the wild with a new melancholic crime drama. But even with my expectations in check, this latest adventure - in which two Japanese detectives dig up past crimes - felt a little off. It was time to investigate why.

Ever since the announcement of Rock Band 4, Harmonix has held steady in its assertion that we shouldn't expect Rock Band 5 in a few years' time. Rock Band 4 is a platform now, not a sequel that's meant to lead to yet another sequel.
The Rock Band 4 that people own in October 2016 isn't the same game that shipped in September 2015. Sure, the songs are the same and it's still four fake instruments trying to mimic real-life musical talent. But, Harmonix put that platform mantra to good use and has significantly evolved Rock Band 4 over the past year. This is undoubtedly a better product than when it originally released.

Good news, 3DS owners. You can now go into the Nintendo eShop and download a small taste of the upcoming Pokémon games.
Berserk and the Band of the Hawk has a name, and now, presumably a full cast list. Femto capped off everyone revealed so far, and you can take a gander at the opening below for this soon to be released PS3, PS4, and Vita game. You'll find some familiar scenes (mostly from the Golden Age Arc), including a hint at how they plan on handling The Eclipse -- which is something I really need to see since they aren't going with an Adults-Only (Cero-Z) rating.
Once all this current craziness dies down I'm planning on importing it on PS4 before its February western release.

If you don't want major spoilers for the game avoid the internet till it releases a month from today, and whatever you do, don't look at the rest of this post. You've been warned.

A wall covered in writing in Batman Arkham Knight that baffled thousands of players for months was a brazen Easter Egg teasing October’s Arkham VR. It was hiding nearly in plain site for nine months since it was snuck into Arkham Knight via some DLC in January.
Timbuk2's Commute and Command lines of messengers bags were voted your favorite in the category by a significant margin. This week you can get them for 30% cheaper, as well as their backpack variants with code KINJA30.
The battle between flora and the undead has taken many forms over the years, from the original flower defense to full-blown third-person shooter. Now we can officially add collectible card game to the list, with the launch of Plants Vs. Zombies Heroes, aka Hearthstone with lanes.
It's official. The Rockstar Red Dead Redemption 2 page is now live. Not a surprise given the recent hints dropped on Twitter. Some may have been wishing for a new a title in the Red Dead series, but given the massive success of Redemption it only makes sense. We'll be getting the first trailer this Thursday, October 20th at 11:00am EST.
Logos for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are shown. So those of you who were still waiting for a PC release of the first game better get your act together and play the first somehow. It's so good it's totally worth borrowing or buying a cheap used 360 or PS3 somewhere. Do it!
The description reads the next Rockstar blockbuster will tell an "epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience." Which comes not long after the Red Dead Online domain was registered.
Looks like we'll be getting a big online experience on the scale of Grand Theft Auto 5, which made massive improvements from the online in GTA 4. I hope a similar improvement is made. While the online in the first Red Dead Redemption was fun, it seemed lacking.
Given the multiple characters displayed in the teaser images, some have speculated multiple protagonists, again like GTA 5. What are your hopes for the game? This is DLC territory, but how about an alien invasion for a Cowboys vs. Aliens knock-off? Clint Eastwood character?
[Due to a last minute code and an international trip later this week, our Battlefield 1 review is going to be handled differently from normal. I played through the campaign and a little bit of multiplayer, which I'll tell you about here. Chris will have the full review for you as soon as humanly possible (which, for Chris, will probably be ten minutes after I publish this).]
I just now finished Battlefield 1's singleplayer campaign, which, to be completely frank, I wasn't looking forward to. I haven't enjoyed a Battlefield campaign since Bad Company 2, finding them all to be beautifully-rendered yet ultimately forgettable. I can't really remember a damn thing I did in the third game. There was a toy dinosaur, I think? Like most people, I'd play them for a little bit to ooh and ahh at the Frostbite engine, and then hop onto the multiplayer and get sniped a thousand times.
Which is why I'm surprised as anybody else that Battlefield 1's campaign is actually worth your time.

Juggling transfers, training and match tactics -- it's a deep, addictive blend of strategy, statistics and luck. For the latest version, Football Manager 2017, the team is going one step further by including the British EU referendum. The UK will trigger Article 50 by the end of March 2017, beginning its separation with the EU. It could have financial and legal repercussions for the football industry too, which Sports Interactive is keen to emulate. The problem is that until it happens, predicting the exact consequences is tricky.

This week marks the launch of Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls, a game in which one group of anime girls representing Sega game consoles faces off against another group of anime girls representing Sega game consoles.
Grand Theft Auto developer Rockstar has been teasing a new Red Dead game in recent days, and we now know what it is: Red Dead Redemption 2. The third game in the series, it's described as "an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland."
Where the story will pickup from is unknown. Given the events of the first Redemption, it's likely to be a prequel. The only promotional imagery we have so far is of a band of seven characters against a sunset -- with the central figure looking a lot like the series' protagonist, John Marston. But if it is a prequel, why call it Redemption 2? Are we maybe looking at a relative, or an all-new character? We'll hopefully have some answers on October 20th, when a trailer drops at 11AM ET.
As well as the expected single-player mode, Rockstar says "the game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience." The game is due out in fall 2017 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One -- there is no mention of PC support anywhere in the promotional material.

Remember when Nintendo announced that it would be releasing a demo for the upcoming games Pokemon Sun and Moon? Well, you can download it to your 3DS right now.
It'll take up 3,055 blocks on your console's SD card, but unlke many demos on the eShop, there is no limit to the amount of times you can launch it. This is likely because many NPCs will tell you to come back at a later date for specific events or activities. Clearly, Nintendo wants you to revisit it many times over.
Completing the Pokemon Sun and Moon demo will reward you with a special Greninja that will change its form when it defeats one enemy in battle -- this new "Ash" form receives significantly boosted offensive stats and will revert back to its normal state when the battle ends, very much like Mega Evolution from the previous 3DS entries in the Pokemon franchise. It also has an upgraded version of the move Water Shuriken, which acts somewhat like a cross between Quick Attack and Fury Attack.
