News::StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm Review | Armchair Empire

Armchair Empire: "StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm offers a challenging campaign, plenty of story and character to consider, and much in the way of production value that few other games can match. The 'always on' connection to the internet might rankle some though I experienced no issues in this regard; even if Battlenet was offline of the Internet was down, the single-player was still available though 'achievements' were not but Heart of the Swarm is a great follow-up to Wings of Liberty and makes me wish the game rolled into part three immediately."

News::BioWare Is Not Afraid Of Either 'The Witcher 3' Or 'Dark Souls 2'

DSOGaming writes: "It seems that a lot of Dragon Age 3 fans are a bit worried about BioWares upcoming RPG. After all, Dragon Age 3 was announced a while back and we have not seen it in action. We do not have any screenshots for what BioWare is planning, and we dont even know much about it. If you were a common fan, youd think that BioWare is a bit afraid of two upcoming RPGs that everyone keeps mentioning these days; The Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 2."

"Who wouldve ever thought that one day a company would look at Lemmings and Tetris and decide to combine concepts from both games into one new style of puzzle game. News::Apple co-founder shows off his legendary Tetris skills

Steve Wozniak is an oddity. Though many know Wozniak for his work at Apple, in his earlier days he was known for his work with videogames, both as a designer (creating Atari's Breakout) and player. This video shot by Game Informer gives a glimpse at Wozniak's awesome Tetris skills that made him the best player in the country according to Nintendo Power's high scores listing.

Wozniak says he was obsessed with the Game Boy version of the game, going as far as to playing it at music concerts instead of watching the band.

"In my whole life, I've played Tetris so much that it might be called my favorite [game]," says the Tetris master.

News::BioShock Infinite Is Making Us Smarter

Cheatcc says: "Right now, BioShock: Infinite is the most talked about game on the market, which is entirely understandable. In an industry where developers are always under heavy pressure to cut cost, Infinite spent nearly four years in the oven and reportedly cost about $200 million to develop and market. And even though it might be a while before 2K Games can recoup their investment, the impact that BioShock will have on the industry makes it one of the most important games ever made. After all, not many other games can inspire people to write songs while simultaneously sparking questions about the storyline's philosophical merit."

Death Inc., the rather lovely looking strategy game from Ambient Studios, has managed to find life after Kickstarter. News::Road Redemption channels Road Rash for 21st century

It's been a long time since there was a Road Rash sequel, but Road Redemption may take away the ache of waiting. Composed of a team with 35 years of combined experience and in production since 2009, Road Redemption is a homage to the motorcycle-combat series that many of us loved in the '90s. With most of production done, developer DarkSeas Games is asking for $160,000 on Kickstarter to polish and distribute the game on consoles.

DarkSeas hopes to evolve the Road Rash concept with firearms, multiplayer, and 6+ mission types (with more that may come from the community). The project is lead by Adam Grantham, who previously worked on the rather bland PlayStation Move title Sorcery . Road Redemption is built on Unity 4 and will release July 2014, free of DRM and microtransactions.

I love Road Rash and have wanted a proper follow-up for over a decade. There have been rumors of reboot attempts throughout the years, but DarkSeas seems to have made some progress with a title that actually exists before the public. It's been too long since I've whipped someone off a bike with a chain.

News::Motherboards- Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army Review

MB:Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army is a good game overall. It does feel like an expansion to Sniper Elite V2 rather than a new entry in the series, but given its low price point this can be easily forgiven. It's not at its best when playing alone, unless you want to practice rupturing organs, so for the most fun be sure to grab a friend (or three) for one of the best contemporary co-op zombie games money can buy. The memories of shooting a zombie through the eye socket, then tearing apart another zombie's brain will stay with you for a good while. There's not much that can compete with this game at the moment, so I would definitely recommend Nazi Zombie Army to any zombie loving fan.

Leviathyn says: "If theres one thing thats always certain about the gaming public, its their love for Mario, pixels and guns.
