News::Dragon Age: Inquisition Review - Gamegrin

Gamegrin: "After a mere three and a half years of waiting (or 1,282 days but who's counting?), BioWare finally delivered on their promise of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the third game in the Dragon Age series, and boy, did they deliver. Dragon Age II ended with a bang--quite literally. One of the players party members blew up Kirkwalls Chantry (the Thedas equivalent of a church), jumpstarting a revolt among the citys mages. That revolt turned into a full-blown civil war across the continent of Thedas, and at the start of Inquisition, it appears that any hope for a peaceful resolution has been lost."

News::Adopted Announced by New Studio Clockwork Demon

When you have an argument or some form of negative discussion with whoever is living with you your canine companion (if you own one) likely fades into the background while you rant and rave. After all, the discussion does not involve the dog and so why should it matter for him or her? Clockwork Demon argues that it does matter, and to further support their argument the new studio has created a video game surrounding the idea that a dog has thoughts on said discussions too. Adopted lets players run free as rescued Boston Terrier Luchador as he explores his surroundings whilst investigating numerous human problems and ways to help or hinder those who Luchador crosses paths with.

News::Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions - Darkstation

DS: "Very few games demand the unyielding concentration Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions requires. Blasting through dozens of enemies while evading obstacles in this rapid-paced arcade shooter is an insanely nerve-wrecking task to accomplish. Geometry Wars 3 keeps its traditional twin stick shooter controls but adds a few new features to keep things interesting. The new Adventure mode has you battling through a variety of different game modes to achieve a high score in order to advance. Some modes will be familiar to fans, such as Pacifism or Deadline, but Lucid Games introduces a few new modes here as well. While new ones like Sniper, Rainbow and Titan successfully add more variety, I felt they were gimmicky and enjoyed the classic options a bit more."

News::Dragon Age Inquisition Review - Mouse n Joypad

Tickles writes - "You never forget your first, I remember it well. My first time was in the rain on a windswept shoreline. I had just left my party and ran through a dark, dank tunnel, as I came out onto the shoreline and into the daylight I saw the most majestic sight I have ever seen. She was alluring, she was beautiful, she was powerful and she was fierce, but the best thing, was that she was fighting a Giant. This was the first time I saw a Dragon in Dragon Age Inquisition and it took me entirely by surprise. The fight didnt last long but as I ran from the cave network I had spent the last ten minutes fighting through, I saw what may be one of the grandest sights Inquisition has to offer. The Dragon and Giant seemed equally matched, both were hurting while I stayed far enough away to not draw attention but close enough so that I didnt miss a thing. Just as the clash of the titans was drawing to a conclusion the Dragon took to the air in a mighty sweep of its leathery wings. T...

News::Tekken x Street Fighter is Still Happening

With the recent string of news about Street Fighter V and Tekken 7 having been announced some time ago fans of the series may been wondering about Tekken x Street Fighter. Never fear, according to a recent interview of Katsuhiro Harada on Korean site inven Tekken x Street Fighter is still happening and Tekken x Street Fighters base system is already finished. This does muddy things a little bit as far as release dates go. Harada also said that they plan to finish Tekken 7 and its updates before finishing Tekken x Street Fighter and that they would also be releasing it strategically as to not cause any problems. Having Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V come out before the crossover makes perfect sense. The only downside of that for fans looking forward to it is that the release date sounds pretty far away. With Street Fighter V not releasing until sometime in 2015 or maybe even 2016, as its only 20% done, you could be waiting for a while. Silver lining: Its still happening.

News::Wheres Wollay and What Did He Do With Cube World?

(CriticalIndieGamer) Back before it was the all-encompassing beast that it is today, Minecraft, as fun as it was, lacked a lot of features. Players longing for quests, loot, RPG elements and deep combat were left wanting. Little did they know that a lone German developer was working on the answer to all of their prayers; a game that borrowed the best aspects from Minecraft the procedural generation and adventuring but imbued them with a bright, cheery aesthetic, a loot system and difficult Diablo-style battles. Cube World had silently been in production since 2011, but it instantly captured the hearts and minds of many gamers. It appeared to have a deeper focus on combat and adventuring, with building merely an aside to the game proper, further igniting the interests of the creatively challenged. Within hours of posting the games debut screenshots, Wollay was inundated with queries from eager new fans, itching to get their hands on it. Against his better judgement the develop...
