News::Huge News of the Week: Tell tales of Cranky Joel McHale

On this week's game show-themed episode of DH Not W, we discover the pizza panic button, answer a question from Occams Electric Toothbrush, offer commentary and information on all the biggest news to come out of last night's VGX awards show, and make our best guess on what's the last thing you'd ever want to say to your Dad.

As if that wasn't enough, Caitlin Cooke will wrap and recap the reviews of the week just for you, while Jonathan beats up a box in the background. You've got to feel it. It's electric.

If you love, hate, or "whatever" the show, please drop us a line at HolmesSupHolmes@gmail.com with your questions and comments. We're also toying with the idea of an end of the year awards special, with nominees determined by the viewers, so be sure to send us any idea you have in that arena. We promise to read them all.

News::Battlefield 4 Review | Gamernode

Its become abundantly clear over recent years that modern or near-future military shooters of the first-person variety dont place a high emphasis on story, especially when compared to their multiplayer components. In Battlefield 4, this trend hasnt been bucked, only reinforced.

News::Batman Arkham Origins Are People Becoming Tired of The Bat?

Pixelgate.Uk writes: ''The recent release of Batman: Arkham Origins has been met with somewhat of a lukewarm reception compared to the other entries in the franchise. Some may point the finger at the numerous bugs present in the game; others find the story lacking. Is the Batman, or at least the Arkham brand, losing its appeal? Arkham Asylum and City garnered high praise for almost every element of the respected experiences, with the extremely tight core gameplay of both titles being the focal point of much of the laudation. The fluent combat offered both accessibility and depth in a wonderfully crafted system. So much so that its now became something of a benchmark in modern video games that involve hand-to-hand combat.''

News::Rad Show: Project Zomboid

Welcome one and all, to the wildest show of all, the Rad Show. Tonight we're gonna jump into Project Zomboid. Yeah, it's a Zombie Survival game, but it's pretty bad ass. And I only play Bad ass games with shirtless men who occasionally get cold so I put a blouse on them to keep them warm and more manly as we fight to live.

To say that yesterdays VGX awards live show was a mixed bag is probably being rather lenient, but one unlikely game managed to save the show and dominate the big games showcased.

News::Deadfall Adventures review | CheatMasters

avoiderdragon:Plenty of people out there do like a bit of Indiana Jones type adventuring in their games. Most of them have played the old Tomb Raider games to some degree of enthusiasm, but they then want more than just staring at a girls butt through short shorts for most of the gameplay (not that its a bad thing), so games with similar themes are quite welcome. The Uncharted series did that very well for the PS3, but there is now a new title that seeks to do the same for multiple platforms. It does look good at first glance, but the rest of it does need closer inspection for better assessment.

News::Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Review: Bad Coffee | Bloody Disgusting

BD writes: "Everything just feels second rate, looking more like a late PS2 game than anything else. Music cues and sound effects cut out at a moments notice and awkwardly overlap, though I did enjoy the squirrels at the beginning that had Monkey sound effects. The only enjoyment to get here is to get some friends around the Xbox 360 version and have a good laugh. If that was Swerys goal then mission accomplished."
