Tin Salamunic: With each new release, developer Travellers Tales takes small, yet progressive, steps to flesh out its perpetually expanding LEGO universe. Like the Dynasty Warriors franchise, most changes seem minimal, oftentimes even illegible, but the continually refined mechanics never cease to entertain. One of the series most notable additions was Travellers Tales foray into sandbox-style gaming with Lego Batman 2 in 2012. The open city significantly expanded replayability and gave the charming little figurines new life. With its breathtaking open world and stupendous amount of content, this years LEGO The Hobbit was the developers most crowning achievement.

News::Battlefield Hardline Looks Pretty Good In This New Gameplay Footage

Gamingbolt - "The new single player gameplay footage that we just got of the upcoming cops and robbers themed Battlefield Hardline looks like it may change all that- it looks genuinely intriguing and it looks like something I might be interested in giving a go. It makes some sense as well, since Hardline is headlined not by the series regular developers DICE, but by Visceral Games, best known for their Dead Space games with EA, which featured some great single player campaigns."

News::Gamespot: Assassin's Creed Rogue Review

Outside of a few additions like an air rifle and grenade launcher (which is used exactly one for mission), there's next to nothing in Rogue that moves the franchise forward. And even if you simply wanted more of Black Flag, that the missions are so sparse makes it difficult to want to drag yourself across the vast expanse of Rogue's oceans. Instead of a rich, fleshed-out game, Rogue is a short, mildly entertaining adventure that's thin on core content, but thick with information. It's intriguing information though, particularly if you're a series fan, just don't expect the best of adventures while you're taking it all in.

Earlier yesterday morning I was greeted with a press e-mail explaining that theyre just going to go ahead and own the press coming out of the leak instead of trying to condemn or hide it. Way back in May 2012, Batman Arkham City game director Sefton Hill revealed that there were still about three or four secret Easter eggs for the video game that had yet to be found. It seems that Rocksteady Studios got tired of waiting and finally revealed at least one of those to the public. Or, at least one of them was teased. The reveal includes a special hidden embedded message from the Calendar Man, aka Julian Day. The message is a chilling monologue from Day. News::Endless Legend Review | Super Clash Gaming

The main goal is to lay down as many cities as possible, own the map, and hit up all the ruins for those hidden treasure that make cities richer with currency, or armies richer with strength. Players can have multiple armies scouring the world for treasure, factions, or fight other roaming factions. The fighting is completely up to the player. Options range from going into the battle in attack or defend stance and engaging the whole fight as an active combatant, watching the computer play it out, or just having the computer calculate the fight results. The battles are six phases, or turns, long. After the sixth turn, the fight is over and the remaining units return to their formation. Players can choose to attack that faction again if there are units left but they must be weary, picking a fight where the odds against them is not wise.

News::War is Hell This War of Mine Review | GIZORAMA

Liam Lambert, GIZORAMA - "A dark, dreary simulation game set in a fictional (albeit highly topical) Eastern European warzone, This War of Mine puts you in the rather grubby and tattered shoes of said conflicts survivors namely, the innocent civilians whose stories one rarely hears. Already, the game sets itself a loft yet intriguing goal: to force players to consider that there is more to war, and videogames, than shooty shooty bang bang. Thanks to some very clever design, and a persistent propensity to make you feel absolutely God-awful about everything, This War of Mine of mine not only succeeds, but it does so with flying colours (ranging from Codex Grey to Fortress Grey)."
