News::You can customize your dog in Grand Theft Auto V

Famitsu checked out Grand Theft Auto V recently and the big news from their coverage is that you can customize your dog. The dog's name is Chop, and you can give him different color collars, other accessories, and more. There's also the danger of losing Chop, so you're going to have to keep an eye over him.

Other bits of info from Famitsu include how each of the three main characters have a unique walk animation, there will be at least one underwater mission, and that there are 15 types of wild animals that can be found in the game. As for release, Japan will get GTA V on October 10, 2013 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Hopefully managing Chop won't be too much of a chore. If anything, I'd like it to be like the horse system in Red Dead Redemption. Whoops you just shot your horse in the face by accident? Whistle for a new one!

News::Flashback Review: L.A. Noire - STFUandPLAY

L.A. Noire tells the story of police detective Cole Phelps who is also a veteran and hero of the second World War. Phelps is a unique individual since he is one of the few cops who isnt jaded or corrupt. The story is set in the city of Angels, Los Angeles in 1947. 1947 was the most violent year in L.As history (even more so than in the early 1990s) so its a great place to set a game that mostly tasks you with solving homicides, uncovering insurance scams and stopping the flow of illegal narcotics.

News::Deadpool Review | Worth Playing

Worth Playing: "Deadpool feels more like a rental than a must-buy title. It's a game that remains true to Deadpool's character, and it shows that High Moon Studios definitely understands what makes the character work. Despite the flashier nature of the combat, the overall experience is quite shallow. There's not enough content to support the repetitive gameplay, and even though the strength of the game comes from Deadpool and the comedy, that still manages to wear thin toward the end of the game. It's definitely something I'd suggest checking out when it goes on sale, but until then, you can hold off on Deadpool."

News::Rogue Legacy Review | Gamers Association

"Even with a seemingly small scope, Rogue Legacy shocked me. With incredible depth and sharp-as-a-sword gameplay, it is a painfully adept and competent game. It expands the rogue-like formula with fresh and tried ideas to a unanimous degree of success. It respects and pushes the player, all the while returning the favor with tangible progression. Its a game for almost everyone and a game Cellar Door should be more than proud of. Frankly, I have yet to put it down and dont plan on it any time soon." - Nick Cane

FTG Writes: I played through DARK so you wouldnt have to. I am a connoisseur of stealth games. I got 1000 achievement points in both Hitman: Absolution and Dishonored on the Xbox and am foaming at the mouth for Splinter Cell: Blacklist next month. So when Kalypso gave Front Towards Gamer a Steam code for their vampire stealth action title, DARK, I was excited despite hearing the lambasting other websites were giving the game. I was not only going to give the game a try, but I was going to muscle through it, 100%. Which I did.

News::PixlBit's Fireburst Review

PixlBit | "When I was a kid I had a collection of toy cars like most other young boys. The more common cars would populate the cities and towns that I would dig out of the dirt. The fancier cars Id use for a more exciting fate, launching them off cardboard ramps and watching them sail as far and high as they could go. One thing would have made this activity more awesome; setting them on fire. Letting me live out this childhood dream is what Fireburstdeveloped by indiePub and exDream for BigBen Interactivesets out to accomplish. Its an offroad combat racing game where fire fuels your speed and is the basis of the combat system."

News::Civilization V: Brave New World Review | Destructoid

Destructoid: "If you have been sitting out on Civilization V because you feel it's not as awesome as Civilization IV, you really need to get on this side of the fence now. Brave New World brings in all the best parts of Gods & Kings and it makes the game into something complex yet simple to learn. The ways you can play are greatly opened up with the new systems, and you can take very different approaches to each victory type. While it still seems less complicated than Civ IV with all of the expansions, Civ V with Brave New World does have a lot more going on and it's just easier than ever to get to all of it. That's always a good thing."
