News::Shadowrun Returns Dragonfall Review I Expansive

For many critics, the best DLC of the year may already be wrapped up. And deservedly so. Naughty Dogs Left Behind was a fantastic narrative-focused adventure that had more characterisation in its sub-two hour duration than many thirty to forty hour blockbuster ever manage. In many ways, Expansive are inclined to agree with the majority. But something quite special happened when upon booting up Harebrained Schemes Dragonfall expansion to Shadowrun Returns. Even though the game doesnt have a single line of audible dialogue, it appreciates the significant value of the written word within a video game unlike nothing else Expansive have seen in 2014.

News::MP1st | Dark Souls 2 Review A World of Beauty and Death, Allies and Enemies

MP1st - Like previous installments, Dark Souls 2 focuses on a centralized world that has little to no narration. Its shrouded in a mist of shadow, leaving players to freely explore its world. There is no one to hold your hands, no markers to tell you where to go, and no right path to choose. Around every corner lurks danger and there is no such thing as a safe place. You are basically told right from the start that you are screwed in this forsaken world, and its for that reason (and others) why I love this series.
