Hatoful Boyfriend is the world's greatest (and only) avian love simulator. Now, you can pre-order the "Summer of Dove" Collector's Edition of the game from Mastertronic and Devolver Digital, which is releasing for PC, Mac, and Linux on August 21.
The standard version goes for $9.99, and the collector's edition for $14.99. The Summer of Dove edition comes packing the game, original soundtrack, an exclusive comic from Hato Moa, exclusive wallpapers, and the St. Pigeonations Yearbook.

The list of games Nintendo is bringing to Cologne, Germany for gamescom this month looks an awful lot like the company's E3 lineup. But considering that means more Super Smash Bros., Hyrule Warriors, Splatoon, and Yoshi's Woolly World, you'll hear no complaints from me.

We see a fair number of iTunes gift card deals around these parts, but discounts on Android app credit are basically nonexistent. Today though, Amazon is filling the void with $100 in Amazon Coins, valid for the purchase of apps and in-app purchases from the Android Appstore, for just $75.
Rust creator Facepunch Studios said it had multiple game prototypes in the works and here's another one: Deuce, an arcade-style tennis game. Or, Street Fighter x tennis.
There's some early footage and artwork to give you a glimpse of that vision in the announcement post. "The characters won't look like typical tennis players.. so no Wimbledon starch white shorts here," writes designer Ian James. "We want to build a selection of characters that could star in their own games in the future or perhaps play different sports."
As someone who is into sport games more than he is into actual sports and loves tennis above all others, I'm so in. It's especially nice to see something like Deuce slated for PC.

It's strange to live in a time where people can make a feature list out of things their game doesn't have, but here we are. Exceedingly Unreal-Tournament-esque shooter Toxikk touts no leveling, no regenerating health, no perks, no cover systems, no classes, no configurable weapons, and no iron sight aiming. And yet, it actually looks quite good.

During a teardown of the new Oculus Rift DK 2 unit, iFixit.com has found that the Oculus Rift uses a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 screen as its display unit.
Speculation is that with Oculus trying to ship 45,000 units as well as having a partnership with Samsung this was a great economical move on their part.
The screen is a sharp 5.7" Super AMOLED 1080p screen that appears to be overclocked to 75 Hz from the Galaxy Note 3's original 60 Hz. A closer look shows that Oculus ended up leaving the Synaptics S5050A touchscreen controller intact as well.

There will be no new release of an EA NCAA Football game this year. The man most frequently blamed for this is a former UCLA basketball star named Ed O'Bannon, who had the temerity to sue the NCAA and EA for using his image without asking permission and without negotiating to pay for it.
Some GameStop stores in the city of Philadelphia have begun to require customers to provide fingerprint scans if they wish to trade-in their used games. The new requirement is intended to serve as a anti-theft measure that can help local authorities track criminals who use GameStop stores as pawn shops.
At this price, I'm picking up the Crysis Trilogy just to see how it runs on my new PC, and that's just one of several great PC game deals today.
