News::Go on a sniping rampage in Hitman Sniper

Square hasn’t been afraid to use the Hitman IP in fun and creative ways. Hitman GO was a critical success for doing something unique, and while Hitman Sniper isn’t on that same scale, it is still at least a ton of fun.

News::Can An MMO Be Made For 5,000?

Nathaniel Liles writes: "The goal of Esyra is unsettlingly low, asking only 5,000 (~$6,800 USD) to bring the game to PC and Mac. While this may be a red flag to some, it may just mean the game is very near completion and just needs a final push. If youd like to contribute to the development of Esyra, you can check out Kickstarter and see if any of those reward tiers are tempting enough. Who knows, you may end up pouring hundreds of hours into this one."

News::Kickstarter Weekly: Beasts Fury, Combat Core and Together: Amna and Saif

Garrett from The Koalition writes: Ive seen many developers turn to Kickstarter for a multitude of gaming-related projects. Some may want the funds to create their favorite childhood games; others may want to take gaming to new heights. However, I have yet to see a developer turn to Kickstarter so they can release a demo. It seems like Ryhan Stevens and his team are using the crowdfunding website to literally kick-start consumer interest for the full-version of Beast's Fury.

I Am Totally in Love with Persona Q’s Cute Character Redesigns

I’m a pretty big fan of Persona 3 and 4—especially of their dark color palette and creepy visuals. So, if you would have told me a year ago I would love the chibi character designs of Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, I never would have believed you. …But they’re just so cute!

GamingLives takes an emotional look at the dark survival sim, 11 Bit Studios' gritty This War of Mine. "I urge you to play this game when it is released. It wont be pleasant, but it may open your eyes and will certainly leave a lasting effect. It was the most moving experience of my thirty-odd years of gaming, and 11 Bit Studios are to be commended on bringing such harsh realism to the much-maligned realm of video games. I applaud them with a heavy heart."

News::Brutality and possiblity in Mortal Kombat X

There were six playable characters in the build at E3, and only two of them Scorpion and Sub-Zero were return entrants. The other four, Cassie Cage, Kotal Kahn, Ferra, and Dvorah, are entirely new, and each of them had hooks that made me want to further explore what they were capable of. Cassie and Kotal have inherited a couple of tricks from their ancestors (MK X is set 25 years after the events of MK 9), but theyre a far cry from being palette swaps for them.
