Google has an eBay store? Yes indeedy - and the Black Friday deals are flowing. For a limited time (probably not), Google is selling its popular 2015 Chromecast for only $25 flat. This is a discount of $10, which translates to 28% off (we did the math).
Best of all, it comes with free 3 months of HBO Now, so you can enjoy family-friendly series such as Game of Thrones, Westworld, and more!
Quantities are limited. I mean, they've sold about 11,677 units at time of writing, so I'm sure they're just about to run out.
Screenshot artist Berduu is to thank for these gorgeous snaps of Titanfall 2, which go way beyond what we’re capable of grabbing by mashing a button in Steam or Fraps.
It’s 2016, and your headphones don’t need wires anymore. Luckily, Amazon’s offering up Sony’s popular and well-reviewed MDRXB950BT Bluetooth over-ears for $88 today. Not only is that an all-time low, it’s actually a whopping $60-$110 off its usual price.
Video games send us to exotic locales, charging us to do countless tasks. Amidst what can feel like a jumbled mess of quests, goals, and waypoints, finding something consistent can be a treat. Let’s look at the ways in which finding something we can do repeatedly in a game can provide a welcome relief from day to day…
Amazon’s Fire TV is one of the only streaming boxes that can push out 4K content, and you can save $15 on yours today.
Reddit’s CEO Steve Huffman has been caught editing comments of users of the infamous pro-Trump subreddit The_Donald. For a site which prides itself on “authentic” conversation, the ability of site administrators to secretly alter content has drastic implications.
A couple weeks ago, I wrote about Crashlands, a mash-up of Diablo, Pokemon, and Don’t Starve lobbed at Steam’s collective face with unfettered glee. It’s ambitious, funny, and fun. Turns out, it was conceived when its creator found out he had cancer.

This year we've been served one average video game film after another. Some of them have come close to good, but none have quite crossed that threshold. Thankfully you can always count on the fans to pull through as Ember Lab, a VFX and animation company, has re-imagined The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask with an awesome animated film.
"Majora's Mask - Terrible Fate" is bonkers in how pretty it is. Focusing on a brief interpretation of Skull Kid's origin story, it has everything you would want in a serious Zelda adaptation. Ember Lab only produced this as a "labor of love," but I'm secretly hoping this is a pitch for something huge down the line. There's a precedent for someone making an awesome fan film before getting courted to a studio project, so let's hope that's the case here.
Either way, I'm sure we can all agree that we need a full Legend of Zelda movie already.
In case you’ve been living in a cave and haven’t played it yet, The Witcher 3 is one of the best games you can buy for the current generation of consoles, and the newly-released Complete Edition is available for just $25 for Black Friday. In terms of dollars-per-hour of content, you won’t find many better game deals.
In case you hadn't heard, Pokémon is still a thing, a big thing, and it doesn't seem to be losing any momentum at all. Media Create Sales reports that nearly 1.6 million copies of Pokémon Sun and Moon have sold in Japan alone. Other reports have that number over 1.9 million already. That's over ten times as many copies as the second most sold game this past week, which oh by the way happens to be Pokémon Sun and Moon Double Pack, sitting at around 150,000 copies moved.
This Pokécraze is no doubt the biggest factor in the surge of New Nintendo 3DS XL sales in Japan, which are up from 20,000 last week to over 81,000 this week, taking the top spot in hardware. In fact all versions of the 3DS saw in increase an sales. The 2DS and New 3DS more than doubled their sales from last week.
This is not new however. Back in 2013, Pokémon X & Y reportedly sold over two million copies in it's first week, at the time more than doubling the prior week's 3DS sales from 117,000 to 242,000. Makes me wonder if people are buying 3DS's to play Pokémon then selling them until a new one comes out again. Or perhaps they really like those special edition consoles.
Call of Duty:Infinite Warfare, Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, Battlefield 1, and Skyrim: Special Edition round out the top five (excluding multiple versions of the same games).

Not every Thanksgiving meal is a lavish feast. In honor of those who find themselves alone or with meager means on America’s snackiest holiday, Snacktaku shares the traditional cheap-ass alternative, the turkey TV dinner.
For Black Friday 2016, deal quality shifts as you cross the console divide. As always, Microsoft comes in guns a-blazing with aggressive deals and prices on the Xbox One S. Over in the Sony camp, PlayStation 4 Slim deals are available - but they aren't jaw-droppingly good, at least compared to those on the Xbox One S.
Thus far, the best option for the Xbox One S will be at the Microsoft Store. At the official retailer, you can pick up select Xbox One S bundles with a free game of your choice plus a bonus $25 gift card as an extra incentive. Not a bad deal at all, especially given all Xbox One S consoles are discounted by $50 this week.
Things are a bit timid so far on the PS4 side, but we're spotting three deals: a very nice PS4 Slim Uncharted 4 bundle for only $239.99, a PS4 Pro 1TB deal for $269.99, and finally, a PS4 Pro deal for $375 at NewEgg (if you have an American Express credit card), bundled with Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and a Plantronics P80 headset (a $60 value).
Unlike years past, retailers aren't leaking their very best non-public deals, so check back Thursday night or Friday morning to see if more goodies are added. We suspect a few retailers will hold a few surprises yet.

I’m not going home for Thanksgiving, and I’m too busy packing my apartment to celebrate with friends. This year, I decided to recognize the holiday in a different way: with my sims.
SONOS speakers go on sale maybe a couple times per year, but even then, a full 25% discount on the PLAY:1 is unheard of. The PLAY:1 is the smallest member of the SONOS family, but it still sounds fantastic, and you can even link two of them together as a stereo pair.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
It's a slow news day since it's a national holiday here in the United States. I recommend settling down with the Mystery Science Theater Turkey Day Marathon running now on YouTube. You could also check in on Animal Crossing: New Leaf, as Franklin's Harvest Festival runs all day today. It'd be a good excuse to check out the new Welcome amiibo content.
If you want to get out of the house for a while, you could take a walk with Pokémon GO, which is running a double experience/double stardust event right now. And if you do, you may as well bring your 3DS along to take advantage of the National StreetPass Weekend. Nintendo runs these a few times a year, and it can help people who don't get to gaming conventions like PAX or MAGfest in expanding their StreetPass plaza.

This year, for the first time ever, Valve is giving out Steam Awards. The whole thing is community-driven, with Steam users nominating games and even submitting their own award categories. As you’d expect, the Internet has taken its solemn duty very seriously. By which I mean the opposite of that.
It's like "Train Kept a Rollin'" by Aerosmith except the train is deals and it's not bad like most things by Aerosmith are bad. That's an awkward way to say that Amazon has even more video game discounts for Thanksgiving, and that's generally a good thing.
This is where things start to heat up. A lot of today's sales are from some of the biggest titles of 2016. The Dishonored 2 Limited Edition is $35. Doom is $20. Dark Souls III is $20. No Man's Sky is $25. It goes on.
Here are some of the best Thanksgiving video game deals we could find on Amazon. Some of them are holdovers from other days that seem pertinent to list again. If you don't see anything that suits you, well, Black Friday's just a day away.
Happy Thanksgiving, and remember to responsibly mix family time with capitalistic pursuits. Also, spend your football time today praying for a Vikings win and a Cowboys loss. That, truly, would be the best deal.

Did you know we have a store? We have a store. You can buy hoodies, stickers and now this new t-shirt as well.
Damn. You can do more than just trade in your old ass games at GameStop this Black Friday season. We're spotting some great prices, particularly on PC titles. Fallout 4 is now only $10 for the PC DVD copy. On the digital game side, you can the Steam key of Civilization VI for as low as $40. Heck, Battlefront is also only $10. There are so many deals, we don't know where to begin.
All the hotties are listed below. Expiration date for the deals is November 27. If we're missing anything good or you spot something expired, let us know.
While the Steam Machine isn't going to play most modern titles at breathtaking frame rates, for $225, it's an interesting living room PC. Can't say we're not tempted.

Welcome to eShop life support. I'm your host, Chris Carter, and I hope you're having a good holiday week.
As we anxiously await the March Switch date (and price, and really, any tangible information announcement coming in "2017"), you can pick up a few things on the Wii U and 3DS. On the former we have Citadale, Octocopter, a 3Souls demo, and Majora's Mask on the Virtual Console. That last one is $10, which is a steal, but consider picking up the great 3DS port too.
The 3DS is even lighter, with Dragon Ball Fusions and Breath of Fire II. You can read Peter's great review for Fusions here and make a decision.
