News::The best and worst games of the week - Xbox One is here!

After last week's PlayStation 4 review domination, Microsoft finally got it's chance to strut its stuff with the Xbox One. Forza Motorsports 5, Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Crimson Dragon, Ryse, and a handful of other exclusive titles flooded our pages this week. But regardless of all the Xbox One hype, their games were far from the biggest titles of the week.

Two titles, fin fact, garnered our coveted 10 out of 10 score. Nintendo's Super Mario 3D Land and from Little Big Planer creators, Media Molecule, Tearaway . If you've been holding out on either the Wii U or PS Vita, you may have just found your first two must have system-selling titles of the year.

News::Chill with Phil! I managed to get an Xbox One, let's go!

It's another week ladies and gents and coming along with it another major console release. And with the release of the Xbox One we are officially at the start of the next generation of games! Feels a bit like a birthday, you expect something to change, some feeling to happen, yet, in the end it feels kind of the same. In either case we are putting Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty off again for another week... DON'T EVEN SAY IT! This weekend was supposed to be our Destructoid t-shirt drive and when that fell through I knew I still had to do a show. Plus I am having a hard time putting down Dead Rising 3.

For those who don't know I am one who is on the "love it" side of the Dead Rising debate. So much so that I sort of idolize Frank West, the first game in the series protagonist. It was refreshing to see Capcom break away from their usual "anime pretty" main characters and give us someone everybody can get behind, an everyman's everyman. Plus he's covered wars, ya know? Oh, and I may play Killer Instinct or Assassin's Creed 4 at some point too. Since Spencer and I are going to be gone from the channel for this next week while we stuff our faces I feel this may be a good way to lead off into a break.

News::Review: BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea - Episode One | Save Game

While it was great to see the extravagance of Rapture rebuilt, this DLC seemed like it could have been a exciting peek into the origins of the city, but instead it only teases players with only threads of information about what it once was. Sadly, this is not the return to Rapture that fans of the BioShock franchise would have been hoping forthe attention of the campaign is fixated on the possibilities of alternate realities that was introduced in BioShock Infinite. Rapture merely seemed like a convenient means of exploring narratives using the concept of parallel universes. In the end, the combination of the plot, characters and setting do not fit together entirely well, and consequently raises the question of why any of it was necessary in the first place.

[Dtoid community blogger TheDustinThomas ranks his top 10 favorite videogame wrestlers. Because why not? Want to see your own blog appear on our front page? Go write something! --Mr Andy Dixon]

For those of you who don't know, I spent 10 years as a professional wrestler. I use the word 'spent' because I recently retired. Mostly due to the fact that my back is all kinds of messed up and because I have a other things in my life that I need to devote more time to. Despite this, I still love the business, and if you've read any of my previous Cblogs, you already know that I love videogames. I started thinking about it and realized that professional wrestling and videogames have intertwined themselves quite often, not just with wrestling games, but characters in other games who play the part of a wrestler.

So what I want to do is count down the top 10 videogame professional wrestlers. I'm not talking about a list comprised of WWE stars who are the best in their games, I'm talking fake 'fake' wrestlers. LET'S GET STARTED!

Our video review for Battlefield 4 is also attached to this review: "The latest hero in the Assassins Creed saga is the great-grandfather of Connor from AC 3. Unlike previous iterations of the series, Edward Kenway is not an Assassin. In fact, his introduction with the Templar and Assassins is simply a matter of happenstance. Mr. Kenway is a pirate true and true, but hes a bit different from his brethren in regards to ambitions. Edward doesnt want to loot and plunder until hes too old or swinging from the gallows. He has aspirations of owning land and becoming a King among pirates, and the best way to achieve this goal is to find a secret treasure called The Observatory."

This week marks at least a couple of significant highlights for gaming fans, not the least of which include the Xbox One launch, the release of Super Mario 3D World, and of course The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. But I'd like to take the time out to celebrate the anniversary of one of the most significant titles in this interactive medium. A title that has no doubt played a large part in inspiring many audiences to look to videogames for providing that perfect sense of adventure, escapism, and discovery we've all come to know throughout the years.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is now 15 years old as of 11/21/2013, and remains my favorite videogame ever since I first experienced the Hero of Time's gripping journey.
