News::What's Up: Final Fantasy All the Lamest, Nintendo pre-order peril, and don't drink Fireball
I'm back and feeling better. I got sucked into the shady money scam known as Final Fantasy All the Bravest , got annoyed by Hyrule Warrior 's retail-exclusive pre-order bonuses, and recount mistakes made with Fireball whiskey.

News::Projectile fighting game Lethal League out this month on Steam
A few months ago, Darren covered an inventive fighting game by the name of Lethal League . I thought it looked cool back then and have only become more into the concept over time.
Essentially, two to four players try to take each other out by whacking an anti-gravity ball around an arena. It's a relatively straightforward yet highly competitive game that's best seen in motion, so please, watch this video for your own benefit. Lethal League will hit Steam on August 27 and there's online multiplayer (with GGPO) in addition to local play.
The game has a cyborg crocodile character and, I quote, "no weak shit." I'm in.

News::Biggest Video Games Delayed to 2015
Christopher Buffa (Prima Games): Theres a good chance that at some point, you pre-ordered a video game that was set to release in a few short months, only to suffer a surprise delay that pushed it to the following year. Depending on the level of excitement you felt, watching helplessly as the publisher sent that game into limbo may have temporarily crushed your soul. Granted, well bet theres a backlog of games on your Steam account or in a neat unopened stack next to your console of choice. Regardless, delays are part of the virtual landscape and annoying all the same. At least on the positive side, the additional time gives developers a chance to make these titles even better, or the publisher wanted to avoid a cluttered holiday season. No matter the reason, weve already seen a few 2014 games delayed to 2015, so on that note, here are some of the more high profile titles originally slated to arrive this holiday, only to wind up on next years calendar.

News::Sony teases the reinvention of horror on PS4
It started with a bloody snowflake. Then there was a bloody hatchet. Now there's a bloody window and a scary man chopping something or someone. Apparently we'll be able to "watch horror reinvented on PS4" tomorrow at gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
With the first video, I was fairly sure Sony was teasing the revival of its PlayStation Move horror game Until Dawn and I've only become more convinced of that as time has passed. Except, three teasers for this? Really? That's almost causing me to have doubt.
Anyway, "horror reinvented" -- powerful words!

News::BioShock's Terrifying Predecessor Turns 15 Today
Before there was BioShock, there was System Shock 2. The first full title produced by Irrational Games when it was still a tiny spin-off from Looking Glass Studios, this terrifying hybrid of a first person shooter and RPG first came out 15 years ago today. Let's all remember in turn just how scared we were when we first stepped into the Von Braun spaceship.
