News::We'll see: EA Access is now live on Xbox One

After a short beta test, Electronic Arts has launched its Xbox One subscription service EA Access.

It's $4.99 per month or $29.99 a year and grants subscribers full access to games in the publisher's Vault which, to start off with, features Peggle 2, Battlefield 4, Madden NFL 25, and FIFA 14. More titles will be added in the future and once they're in, they will stay in.

The program also offers early access to demos for games like Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, and Dragon Age: Inquisition, as well as a 10 percent discount on EA-related digital purchases for Xbox One including full game downloads and DLC.

On paper, the service sounds decent -- surprisingly decent, given that this is EA -- but I'd highly recommend waiting and seeing how it pans out over the next few months before subscribing.
