News::Laser Fury is an Action RPG Blast for 1 to 4 Players

Marcus Estrada writes: "Laser Fury is a game that can be played by one to four players. Of course, it does appear that multiplayer is the way it's intended to be played. As far as co-op is concerned, you'll be able to play with friends locally or via the internet. This simple statement is a huge deal for online multiplayer fans such as myself since so many indie developers have been shying away from online play as of late."

News::Flamberge is an RPG for Tacticians

Marcus Estrada writes: "Flamberge is the kind of game that fans of tactical games are set to drool over. Its core is RPG conventions, which means there is a sprawling world, deep storyline, and lots of battles to engage in. So what about this really differentiates itself from the rest of this massive genre? During battles, players take simultaneous turns. Very few games attempt this method of play because it is often even more challenging than your typical tactics game."

News::MX vs ATV Supercross Review | Codec Moments

Matt at Codec Moments writes: "Not necessarily the biggest sport in the world, Motocross has got a significant following. Significant enough that Rainbow Studios and Nordic Games have released the 5th iteration of the dirt bike racing series. MX vs ATV Supercross is also the first one to be released since THQ went bust. Given increasing coverage of aspects of the sport on global TV, and the success of games like Trials Fusion, can this differentiate itself enough and make you buy into it?"

News::Giant Bomb- The Evil Within Review

Giant Bomb- It's hard to imagine how someone follows up Resident Evil 4, possibly the most influential game of the last decade. You can see pieces of RE4 in nearly every third-person action game produced after 2005. And that's forgetting Shinji Mikami is also responsible for the original Resident Evil, Vanquish, and countless others. For much of his career, Mikami's had the golden touch. The creator's latest comes with understandably high expectations, and while there are moments when The Evil Within rises to the occasion, it's a deeply flawed experience that's more prone to generating frustration than fun 'n scares.

Jermain Jackson of RGN writes: "The Krals has an appealing look and comfortable design. Its plush, polyurethane ear pads, fit wonderfully and feel really nice. Thankfully the headband features the same soft material underneath it, to keep from cutting into the top of your head. For those with bigger/wider heads than mine, it can be adjusted to accommodate for your size."

News::Review: Shadow Warrior (New Gamer Nation)

New Gamer Nation writes: "I cant remember the last game in which I spilled as much blood as I did in the first person shooter Shadow Warrior. As hero Lo Wang yes, thats his name I carved through countless demons with my sword, and unloaded thousands of bullets into bloody, disintegrating bodies, and I felt like I needed windshield wipers just to see. This bloody adventure began with the original Shadow Warrior that was released back in 1997, and it was rebooted and released on PC in 2013. Now, the rebooted Shadow Warrior makes its way to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. While nothing has really changed from its PC release., it largely remains the same bloody good time as it was on PC, though it also retains many of the same technical and design issues that plagued it in its original release."

News::The Evil Within Review: A Ride on the Crazy Train | Technology Tell

Technology Tell writes, "Castellanos, and thus the player, is wondering exactly whats real and whats a trick of the mind in this adventure. A major problem is that the detective is the definition of a blank slate. We learn more about him from the diary excerpts scattered throughout the game than the actors performance. Its hard for the player to be scared when a giant, unkillable spider woman appears and Sebastians reaction amounts to Id better get out of here. Wow, easy to see how he made detective with observations like that."

News::F1 2014 Review | Saving Content

Excerpt: "F1 2014 just feels out of place. And it also looks like it. Its really a shame that this years entry is so hollow. Codemasters hasnt does anything criminal here. There are many improvements, and all for the better. But the main point of contention is removal of some pretty impressive features and modes that acclimated newcomers. F1 2014 only seems to alienate, new and old fans. Complaints aside, F1 2014 is an incredible simulation of the Formula 1 you simply wont find elsewhere. A damn fine racing game with little incentive to upgrade."

Maximum PC: It's no longer absurd to build a gaming box around Linux. Sure, there are still far more titles available for Windows, but between solutions like Wine and a growing concerted effort to support the open source platform, the situation is improving at a faster rate than ever before. Valve deserves kudos for promoting Linux through Steam, and surprise, surprise, Humble Bundle is fast becoming a pioneering force with over 100 games having been ported to Linux.
