News::Antichamber Review | ComboCaster

It's hard to describe what is really Antichamber, mainly because it is in a constant change. What appears to be a room roughly delineated quickly becomes much more than that. The various colors draw the meaning that was not there before. Everything is much more than it seems at first glance. Nothing is what it seems in Antichamber and this becomes a much richer experience because of it. The similarities with Portal are more than many. Yes there GLaDOS and the graphics are completely different, but the bottom Portal is at the heart of the game and is the main inspiration.

News::Why Konrad Tomaszkiewicz is Wrong About Skyrim Being Generic

OnlySP: In a recent interview, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz uttered the most jimmy rustling sentence that Ive ever heard spoken in regards to gaming. Skyrim is generic. The game director for the upcoming third installment of The Witcher series also claims that there is zero immersion into the world. Non player characters dont respond the heros achievements and the quests in general were reused and fell into a repetitive rut.

News::Dead Space 3 (Single-Player) Review | HAL

Isaac Wagner: "You must be some awful Necromorph to not like previous entries in the excellent Dead Space franchise, and Im happy to report that Dead Space 3 is another great entry in this brilliant gaming property. The weapon crafting stuff is fun stuff, and the world of Tau Volantis is an exciting place to explore. And even though the story isnt very good, and the co-op seems to have some negative impacts on the single-player experience, I thoroughly enjoyed Dead Space 3. Its not as unique or surprising as Dead Space 1, or as memorable and thrilling as Dead Space 2, but Dead Space 3 is a fun title that is worthy of the Dead Space name. Even though it never comes close to matching the many highs of previous games, Dead Space 3 is still your best bet if youre looking for a quality action-horror experience."

News::7 Video Game Urban Legends I Wish Were True

Smosh: I remember hearing whispers on the playground of secret things you could do in video games that would unlock untold secrets. Those rumors gave the games a sense of mystery. Of revelation. And I do so wish these urban legends were true, if only so I won't have wasted so many hours of my life. News::What's Your Destiny? Bungie's Destiny 10-Year Gameplan Previewed - AusGamers

AusGamers was invited out to Bungie for a recent reveal of Destiny, and writes: "But Im getting ahead of myself here. Lets begin at what, exactly, Destiny is. According to Activision CEO, Eric Hirshberg, who personally came out and introduced us to this unique and promising new property, Destiny is a persistent (always) online shooter set in a mythic science-fiction universe. It will span 10 (real-life) years and, as a point of housekeeping from Actis dear leader, feature no subscription model. It is a customisable game that, as far as we were told, has three character archetypes to build from and will offer solo, cooperative and competitive multiplayer, seamlessly blended into this persistent space. The game(s) will feature a purpose-built network engine (for console at the moment) with always-on matchmaking, a dedicated server cloud, traffic repeaters and seamless host migration, apparently. News::Gamespy- Dead Space 3 Review

GS:Miraculously, Dead Space 3 seems to have slipped through a loophole in whatever rule it is that requires the third entry in a sci-fi series to be dramatically worse than the second. (Star Trek, Alien, Terminator, Back to the Future, and yes even The Matrix, I'm looking at you). Despite noticeably upping the action level, bolting on co-op, and even charging us extra to cheat, this space-zombie shooter trilogy brings it home nicely with a lengthy, atmospheric, and suitably gory climax for our long-tortured hero, Isaac Clarke.

Halo 4 Majestic Map Pack screens leaked screenshot

We're nearly ten days away from the supposed launch of Halo 4 's second DLC offering, the "Majestic Map Pack," and a savvy NeoGAF user has uncovered some screenshots through editing URLs on the Halo website.

Just like the Crimson Map Pack, expect this one to go for 800 MSP, with the option to pick up the Season Pass and save five bucks on all three planned DLCs.

The three maps are titled "Landfall," "Monolith," and "Skyline." All of them seem to have a wide open feel to them. I can't wait to try them out on our community playdate, and expect some impressions from yours truly close to launch.

News::Bioshock Infinite Hands-On: Exploring The Beautiful Madness Of Columbia | OXM

Jon Blyth: ''How to put this diplomatically? If you're a dramatic kind of person who's prone to reading a narrative into any given series of events, then you might be inclined to see BioShock Infinite's development as "troubled". Release dates have been issued and retracted. Long-standing members of staff at Irrational have left to work on other projects, in two waves. As far as headlines are concerned, two waves is an exodus. Then, Rod Fergusson from Epic was recruited, which added a semi-hallucinatory side-narrative that BioShock was hanging up its grandest intentions in favour of going batshit with a chainsaw. Annoyingly, this idea was given spectral meat by images of Booker DeWitt plunging a whirling skyhook into the bloody neck of Columbia's police force.''
