News::New Screens Detail Game Update 31s Graphics Upgrade for DCUO

A few weeks ago SOE released a preview video of what DC Universe Onlines graphics will look like after game update 31 goes live, and now the company has issued a few new screenshots of the improved visuals. The screens are reportedly from the PC and PS3 version of DCUO, although the main reason for game update 31 is to amp up the games visuals for its PS4 release, so its curious that SOE didnt release official PS4 screenshots. News::Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Review - PixlBit

PixlBit | "Frightening games require a key ingredient that is not initially present in their makeup: a willingness, on the players behalf, to be scared. Without this, horror games are seldom terrifying, and more often than not are only campy experiences as silly and ineffective as the latest Jason & Chucky crossover flick. I went into Amnesia: Machine for Pigs wanting to be thrilled; and I made sure to play it at night, with headphones on, while everyone else in the world slept to achieve this goal. This certainly isnt a Resident Evil experience, where youll be blowing away fiends with your acid rounds but something different, more along the lines of some other modern horror games where you are essentially powerless against the forces of evil, rather than being a semi-immortal avenger."

Wired: Do you like Rapture? Do you like Columbia? Well, then youll love when theyre both mashed together, right? Okay, I admit it: Burial at Sea, the new downloadable side story for BioShock Infinite, is fan service. Did Booker and Elizabeth, the main characters of Infinite, really need to be transported into the underwater Objectivist dystopia of the first game in the series? News::XCOM: Enemy Within Review | CheatCC

CCC Says: "Last year's XCOM: Enemy Unknown remake of the 1994 turn-based RPG was a critical success. It combined top-notch strategy, both on the battlefield and through base management, with insatiable replayability. The criticisms were minor, but the developers at Firaxis took them to heart, and thus embarked on a mission to raise the stature of the series. So instead of improving the formula with a sequel, they decided on an expansion pack, but not in the expected fashion. XCOM: Enemy Within is not a separate plot with disjointed storylines in an alternate setting. Instead, it is an upgrade of the original, adding new classes, new enemies, new resources, new missions, new customizations, and a new threat to the XCOM organization."

Sony just updated the usage terms for the PlayStation Network, and something was added that could make some people uncomfortable. In the terms, Sony says that they "can't monitor all PSN activity," but they "reserve the right in our sole discretion to monitor and record any or all of your PSN activity" which will include "content of your voice and text communications."

This basically means that they have the ability to read and listen to any of your messages on the PlayStation Network. I think this is crazy, and it's unbelievable that Sony thinks that everyone is going to be OK with this.

GameCloud: "Being released just two year after Arkham City, its surprising just how similar Origins is to its predecessor. Sure, it might not bring that much new to the table, but it should be noted that this installment was developed by Warner Brothers and not Rocksteady Studios. If youre looking for innovation, youre going to be bitterly disappointed. GameCloud: "Ultimately, The Wolf Among Us is an enthralling start to an entirely new series, and definitely should not be interpreted as a spin off in any way. Admittedly, the game borrows the majority of its design principles from Telltales predecessor, The Walking Dead, but honestly, it doesnt ever feel as if youre playing the same game.
