News::Skyrim: Legendary Edition £6.79 at Steam

Dealspwn writes: This is easily the cheapest price we've seen the Legendary Edition of Skyrim. This comes with all of the expansion DLC released for the game. The PC version is the least broken version when compared to the console releases too. We'd heartily recommend this over the new Elder Scrolls Online as there are months of exploring available and you don't have to pay a ridiculous monthly fee for the pleasure.

News::10 Most Anticlimactic Boss Fights

Some of the most famous moments in gaming history involve a climactic boss encounter; from Bowser at the end of Super Mario Bros, to the mothership in Phoenix. As well as being the climax in terms of gameplay, these fights are also intrinsically linked with the games story. The boss will often have been a main antagonist thats been hyped up throughout the game, with the resolution of the plot tied in with their defeat. Occasionally though, boss fights can just feel anticlimactic. Discovering that the big bad youve been fighting towards for 20 hours of gameplay is a pushover can cheapen the whole experience. It can also be the case that, while the gameplay was fun and challenging, the victory was ultimately pointless with regards to the story. This list takes a look at the most anticlimactic boss fights from gaming history, the encounters that, after a ridiculous amount of build up, left players asking Was that it?!.

News::Reworked Nidalee Champion Review - MMOsite

Nidalee is one of the most frequently played champions in the game. According to lolking charts, she is the most popular champion on Dominion and ranks in the top five most popular champions on Twisted Treeline, Howling Abyss, and of course Summoners Rift. Shes an annoying champ to play against since all Nidalees ever seem to do is spam spears and then run away when an enemy gets close. Riot intended to fix that with this rework.

News::The 6 Most Infamous Videogames Ever

Denis Murphy writes- Just like Film and comic books before it, videogames have been the go-to scapegoat for politicians for the past two decades to blame on many of society's ills. From blaming them on underachieving students to more serious, sadly often school based tragedies, videogames are under the microscope of many.

News::Xenonauts Review - Mouse n Joypad

Gale writes -"The hardest part in any X-COM-alike game for me has always been the beginning. Not only are you severely underpowered and mostly oblivious to the alien threat, but you also have to quickly catch up with all the complicated mechanisms that make up the games deep gameplay experience. As if that wasnt enough, youll have to do that two times over since the game basically has both a tactical ground combat and the strategic worldwide layer to worry about."

The hands-on demo area at E3s Xbox booth is loud, but playing Never Alone is the best kind of gaming experience: where everything else fades away, and youre left completely absorbed in the world of the game. The story, one of the team tells me, is based on a traditional tale of the Iñupiat (one of the native tribes of Alaska) and it feels like something out of a storybook.

Recently, Alex Amancio, gave birth to a massive controversy while clarifying why Assassin's Creed Unity's four-player co-op will not offer female assassins. This argument of Alex didn't go down too well with Jonathan Cooper, Currently Animator at Naughty Dog (previously worked on Animation Director on Assassin's Creed III, Lead on Mass Effect 1, 2 and more). News::Watch Dogs £15.95 on PC at CD Keys

Dealspwn writes: Head over to CDKeys.com's Facebook page (link above) and give them a 'like' to get a unique 5% discount code. You can unlike and like again if you've done this before. For the length of Watch Dogs' story, the unique hacking opportunities will keep you hooked, as theres nothing else quite like it out there. But outside of the hacking, police chases go on too long, side-missions feel repetitive, the audio diaries or home hacks arent that interesting and never try to form a bigger picture of the story a la Assassins Creeds extras. Its a shame, as the game undoubtedly breaks new ground with the hacking opportunities both behind the wheel or when sneaking around on foot. Much like the first Assassins Creed, the game has struggled with its own hype, but as history shows, Ubisoft are more than capable of turning this into an essential series if they can make the world and the gameplay around the hacking more interesting too.

For those who grew up in the 80s/90s, your main source of gaming entertainment came in the form of a little square grey box called the NES. News::10 Musicians Who Hid Original Tracks In Your Favourite Games

Video game soundtracks are arguably one of the most under-appreciated pieces of music in entertainment. While youre sitting there blasting and slashing your evenings away, the sound design and background music do such a good job of immersing you in the virtual world youre inhabiting that you often forget that theyre there at all. In fact the most memorable soundtracks are often full of licensed songs that youve probably already heard, with games like Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 being famous for raising a generation on punk rock. But what about original songs and soundtracks, written and performed solely for the purpose of complimenting an action packed video game? There are of course many of these written by people who sadly dont get the recognition they deserve, but there are also a surprising amount of famous musicians and bands that have donated their talent to various games throughout the years.
