News::Ghost Recon Phantoms 1.0.2 adds Subpen

Ubisoft are delighted that free-to-play multiplayer shoot-em-up Ghost Recon Phantoms is a hit; so delighted, in fact, they have decided to unleash an new(ish) map on its 200,00 daily active users. Thats right, from today Ghost Recon-ers can get their grubby mitts on The Subpen, redesigned from the original Balaklava Sub-Pen level. Lets hope the changes to the map arent reflected in the name.

News::The Daily Five: Badass Kids in Games

"The portrayal of minors has always been a tricky problem in entertainment. The default response is to make them beacons of innocence, even if human history is filled to the brim with Sally Drapers keeping their elders in check. Weve all lived through frustrating times in our lives when we werent taken seriously just because we were kids, so seeing the younguns tell everyone whats up is always refreshing. Of course, were all about video games here on Stealthy Box, and todays Daily Five is all about five badass kids that dont take guff from anyone, thank you very much." - Joe Garcia

News::Eating food to heal in BioShock Infinite really was too much

A city floating in the sky? Sure, I'll buy it. Alternate dimensions? Well, yeah. Nothing new. But eating any old random food scattered throughout town to recover health? You've gone too far, BioShock Infinite. I can no longer suspend my disbelief.

The absurdity of Booker DeWitt's eating habits didn't need to be illustrated, but leave it to the Mega64 guys to take the concept to its grossest conclusion. Stick around for the final scene.

News::Glean some interesting facts about Skyrim from this Did You Know Gaming? video

I don't watch too many YouTube video series, but I quite enjoy some of the facts Did You Know Gaming? serves up. Sometimes I actually walk away having learned a little something. I ended up liking the latest entry to the DYKG series about Skyrim , and I surmise you all might as well. Unless, of course, you already know all this stuff. In that case, I will feel stupid. And useless. And I will need a pep talk from all of you in the comment section.

A lot of the facts here seem to basically point back to the fact that, obviously, Skyrim is connected to the rest of the Elder Scrolls games. Well, duh. But there's still some cool little tidbits within the 7-minute video if you want to take the time to watch. I recommend the Pokémon videos as well. They're good stuff.

News::The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (PS4) Review - JPS

With The Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie out, another video game comes along with it. The first The Amazing Spider-Man game was generally well received as it had a unique storyline that served as an epilogue to the main film. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game takes a different approach as it has a unique storyline of its own that has little sprinkles from the actual movie. Does the video game hold up well or is it just a tangled mess?

News::All the Watch Dogs collector's editions are the wrong versions

Earlier today, Cheap Ass Gamer's Robert Goode pointed out on Twitter that Watch Dogs' Wikipedia page listed out every single various edition of the game you could possibly purchase in a handy table that also detailed what piece of content comes with that version. And, well, it turns out there is no "complete" edition of the game you can purchase; not even the giant Limited Edition.

No matter what you choose to purchase strategically at a specific retailer, it is not possible to have all the extra content up front in one complete package for Watch Dogs . There's also some apparent overlap in the Season Pass with a couple of the versions. This is pretty ridiculous, but not at all surprising. Games have been doing retailer-specific content for far too long now, with all of said content being found in a round-up DLC pack anyway probably not six months later.

That's obviously going to be the case with Watch Dogs, but here specifically it just feels disgusting with it all laid out in a nice table. Hopefully companies realize how ridiculous this looks -- and is -- and end up dropping this sometime soon. I know what this kind of thing does to my fellow collectors out there.

News::Kickstarter VN Exogenesis Paints a Beautiful and Desolate Picture | Hardcore Gamer

Developed by Kwan, an international team of VN enthusiasts, the game tells the story of a post-apocalyptic treasure hunter named Yu and his team, Durchhalten, as they search for a mysterious device called "Noah's Ark." The device's "Lazarus Protocol" has the power to restore objects from the past, and could hold the key to mankind's salvation. More importantly for Yu, it represents a way to bring back his dead sister Miho. With the stakes so high and so personal, Yu will have to make some hard decisions, and may end up doing a lot of bad things in pursuit of the Ark. Whether or not he does is in your hands; Exogenesis features moral choices and branching storylines that should make it eminently compelling and replayable.

News::Good Smile Company's Pokémon Nendoroid is kawaii as heck

You can never have enough Pokémon figures in your life, especially when they happen to be Nendoroids. Good Smile Company revealed an upcoming Nendoroid of none other than Pokémon Origins series protagonist Red, clad in his signature outfit from the show. Just look at how tiny he is. Those expressions. That super deformity. If you've never owned a Nendoroid, Red might be a good place to start.

Bandai's announcement is a surprising one since this is toy release news, but given the success of Pokémon Origins and its alternative approach to telling the familiar story so many of us hold dear to our hearts, it's not unusual to see additional marketing dollars being thrown down to make sure it stays profitable.

But just look at that widdle guy! Aww!
