News::New Order Looks to Pull Wolfenstein Out of Under Appreciation; New Home Equals Perfect Medicine

VG Republic Writes: Bethesda is at it again, the company that is turning into the publishing gurus unveiled one of the most underappreciated titles from this current generation, a new Wolfenstein. The title, The New Order, was shown off on YouTube and Gamespot via a teaser trailer that can be seen below and it was also revealed that the title will be a cross generation title. The last Wolfenstein was a solid game releasing in 2009, but the issue is it released amongst one of the most muddled genres, the First Person Shooter, which seemingly doomed it from the start. Not only that, it was previously published by the same company that produces Call of Duty, Activision, and if that isnt enough it hit the market the same year as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which was one of the most influential titles of this entire era. So with a new developer teamed up with one of the best publishers on the planet, which is exactly what Wolfenstein needs.

News::Don't Starve Review by The Black Panel

The Black Panel writes: Dont Starve is an interesting experiment and it certainly has a lot to offer. The unique crafting based gameplay may be easy to understand but it also offers a surprising amount of depth. The cartoony world is pleasant to traverse and the creature design is inspired. All these positives do wear off though when you realise that the game (as it currently stands) doesnt really have a point and there is little to keep you coming back for more.

News::Sanctum 2 Developer Diary - Level Design (Strategy Informer)

From Strategyinformer.com: "Naturally the level design part of a game such as Sanctum is incredibly important. Thats why it has to be even better in Sanctum 2! During the development of Sanctum 2, weve made design decisions that make the game much more action packed than Sanctum 1. For example, enemies can now attack the player, and they can reach the player even if they are standing on the walls. Because of this, we felt that we also needed expand on the complexity of the level design as well, as to keep the strategic elements on par with the action-based ones".

From Strategyinformer.com: "I utterly respect developer Spiders ambition in creating Mars: War Logs: an epic RPG for a reasonable price. Mass Effect on a budget. Yes Star Trek and Star Wars are great, but now and again a nice Starship Troopers 3: Marauder hits the spot. And why not? RPGs shouldnt just be the realm of big-budget extravaganzas and 2D indie titles. A more optimistic person could see it as an easy way to distinguish the product as one for a more hardcore audience a serious product for a serious gamer, someone probably more serious than you. Me?
