The long-awaited Xbox One version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will debut on December 12, 2017, Microsoft Studios and PUBG Corp. have announced.
The wildly popular battle royale title will first be available as part of the Xbox Game Preview program, as expected, so this really only marks the beginning. The PC version of PUBG is also still in its early-access phase, but the developers are targeting "late December" for the 1.0 launch.
"Both versions are being developed at the same time, but they both have their own separate roadmaps," said PUBG Corp. CEO Chang Han Kim. "Various Xbox One features and functionality will change and come online over time just like they have on PC, with our goal being to have both versions align to each other as soon as possible."
