I've been noodling around with the idea of replaying Zelda: Breath of the Wild a third time, beyond my hard mode playthrough, but I just can't stop messing around with my existing save files.
There's still so much to be explored, so much I left untamed so that I can spend some free time in Hyrule. While the idea of an expanded story via DLC later this year does intrigue me, this concept art from a fan is a far more interesting proposition.
Here, they re-imagine the entire world of Hyrule as a flooded kingdom, bringing our most treasured Wind Waker memories to mind. But it's more than just a fleeting idea -- the actual layout looks like something I'd want to explore and craft makeshift boats for. It's like Breath of the Wild's own Cataclysm, a la World of Warcraft (and a trope Zelda games have been doing for years).
