Next Wednesday is going to be a busy day for Psyonix. Not only will it mark the arrival of Rocket League's new Dropshot mode, the update will also signal the beginning of the fourth competitive season. A little something for those who just wanna have some fun and a little something for those who wanna try way too hard.
On March 22, all ranks are reset and players start anew in their pursuit of becoming a Champion. The road will look significantly different this time, though. As Psyonix detailed in January, it's doing away with the Prospect/Challenger/Blue Star/Champion model in favor of these new ranks:
