News:: Never forget Naughty Dog's humble origins of writing 'ass' into their game's code

Before Naughty Dog was winning major awards with "groundbreaking narratives," they were putting "ass" and "motherfucker" into their coding.

Yep, as this Did You Know Gaming video points out, Crash Bandicoot was nicknamed "the ass game," because of the constant camera angle, and many enemies had codenames that involved the word "ass" for assistant. You can also get reacquainted with some of the more well-known parts of the series' history, like executive meddling, and why Crash was named Crash (because he crashed through boxes).

It's still a few months away, but it's a great clip to watch before the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a PS4 remaster of the original trilogy, is out in June.
