After five major releases across arcade and home platforms for Street Fighter IV, few in the fighting game community would argue that a proper sequel in the form of Street Fighter V has been a long time coming. However, few in that same community were prepared for Capcoms plans for the franchise moving forward. The problem? Unlike its predecessor, Street Fighter V was being developed as a PlayStation 4 and PC exclusive.
