Dante is a prick, the man is wholly unlovable and a complete waste of space, but then again, so was I in my early 20s. Just like me at that age, he and his latest game are filled with potential. DmC is more than just a cash-grab reboot of a popular franchise; its an attempt to create a cohesive narrative in a series which has continually tried to reinvent itself since day one. Though there is the occasional stumble in this latest attempt, it never falls and should be commended for trying in the face of some very vocal opposition.
