The Nintendo Switch version of Doom is an admirable effort, to be sure, but the port is not without its issues. One of the more annoying problems is that the audio can glitch out from time to time, as shown here. It's the type of thing you could probably learn to deal with if you already bought the game, but it's also pesky enough to put off new players (especially since Doom still runs a full $60 on Switch).
If you've been waiting for some of these kinks to be ironed out, it shouldn't take much longer.
Well be releasing an upcoming patch for #DOOM on #NintendoSwitch this month. Well provide full patch notes covering audio issues, menu fixes, and more as we get closer to release. pic.twitter.com/0YyJ9OTqzK

Normally I'd want to wait until the specifics are out there, but in the case of Doom, I know folks were starting to wonder if an update was still on the way. It is! And hopefully it's effective.
