Sony Japan are really pumping out the Limited Edition PS4 consoles lately, with Hokuto ga Gotoku, Monster Hunter: World, Valkyria Chronicles and other games getting their very own versions of the (typically) black box.
Now you can add The Caligula Effect: Overdose to that list, with the PS Vita remake getting not one, but TWO models to celebrate its release. The "μ Edition" is a white console featuring a lavish depiction of overseer μ laying atop a rich flowerbed, whilst the "Extreme Edition" features a repeating pattern and chibi-versions of μ and Aria. Extreme.
The two units are available for pre-order in Japan and come in 500GB and 1TB formats, costing ¥33,480 ($300) and ¥38,480 ($350) respectively. If you just cannot decide on which design you prefer, you can chuck in a top-plate of either design for an extra ¥3,000. The consoles can be purchased from the Sony Store, and prices obviously do not take into account shipping and/or customs charges.
The Caligula Effect: Overdose is available on PS4 in Japan May 17.
