News:: Guess who's back in the Top Ten of the UK Charts

The top of the UK charts saw zero movement last week. Activision's military-shooter Call of Duty: WWII still sits comfortably in first place, backed by big-bucks releases FIFA 18, Gran Turismo: Sport, Star Wars: Battlefront II and Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Origins.

Despite the rigidity of these releases, holiday shopping has shaken up the back-end of the Top Ten somewhat. Super Mario Odyssey climbed from eighth place to sixth, making it the most enduring Switch release in the UK charts to date. Top Ten veterans Grand Theft Auto V and Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy have made an inevitable comeback, with both reappearing in the big leagues.

Elsewhere in the charts, Monolith's Xenoblade Chronicles 2 made its debut at number 19. Although this may seem disappointing, it's worth noting that the UK sales are one third up on the UK sales of 2015's Xenoblade Chronicles X. So, in the bigger picture, it is a much-improved launch for the franchise.
