Drakengard and even the original Nier were such niche it's still a little surprising to see how successful NieR: Automata has become. Even Persona was a humble spin-off series that is now a global blockbuster. The stigma against Japanese games has seemingly vanished.
There were no major releases this week, so top dogs Monster Hunter XX and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the WIld stayed on top. On the hardware end, the Nintendo Switch just keeps roaring, with another 45k . The only other console to see an increase in sales from the previous week is the Xbox One, who soared from 132 to 142 this past week. Keep at it!
