News:: Modern Warfare Remastered launches trailers, not nukes

Activision has pushed out a launch trailer for the Modern Warfare remaster. See, despite the fact that its proper launch isn't until November 4, anyone who pre-ordered Infinite Warfare's legacy or digital deluxe edition gets access beginning on October 5. The hope is that the extra 30 days (and, by extension, this video) will make someone say "Oh, hell yeah!" and plop down the cash for Infinite Warfare.

Conspicuous marketing practices aside, this is indeed a trailer that might make someone say "Oh, hell yeah!" It's a sizzle reel of quick cuts, high action, and big explosions. It seethes badassery. It's the movie Crank if Crank were distilled down into a video game trailer.

If that's the sort of thing that sounds good to you, well, you know what to do in order to get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered next week. For those who can wait, Activision won't say it but an eventual standalone release is probably a good bet.
