News:: Blizzard should bring more Overwatch heroes to its other games

In case you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly the MOBA guy around here. Off the top of my head, I'm not sure that I've ever written about League of Legends or Dota 2. I wrote about Paragon once before we ever knew what Paragon was, so that hardly counts.

Yet, here I am talking Heroes of the Storm because Overwatch's Zarya is in it. That's kind of Heroes of the Storm's thing -- it brings together characters from all of Blizzard's properties and mashes them up in a MOBA.

The latest instance is for the StarCraft-themed "Machines of War" event on the Warhead Junction map. That patch went live yesterday, so it's available now. Go play as the pink-haired heroine, shield your teammates from danger, and throw the damage right back at your foes.

Maybe it invites too many weird canonical issues, but Overwatch characters should be in more Blizzard titles. I don't even care if it makes no sense. Torbjorn the friendly shopkeep in Diablo? Yep! An army of Reinhardts in StarCraft? Sure! A race of Hanzos in World of Warcraft?

Nah, I get to see enough other people playing Hanzo in Overwatch. I'm good there.
