Rob Thubron didn't believe in VR but his reality has been virtually changed, he writes : "I have to admit, my initial reaction upon hearing about the Oculus Rift was a shrug of the shoulders and a resounding Meh. To me this seemed like another one of those next big things in gaming that never get off the ground: 3D monitors, Onlive, and not to mention the other VR units that have preceded Oculus. The unit just appeared to be another low res, expensive, laggy input device that would get no support from games companies, and at best be used exclusively by engineers."
