Garet of RGN writes, "Type: Rider somehow manages to educate the player of the history of typography, and yet still be exciting to play. The themes of each level are designed perfectly. Nothing seems out of order. The game is simple, exciting, and educational. The graphics are phenomenal, the music/sounds are amazing. But, Type: Rider is a very short game. It took me about 3 hours to complete all 10 levels, plus he bonus level, which is extraordinary difficult and frustrating, took roughly 45 minutes. The short amount of time that it takes to complete the game is the only problem with this game; Type Rider earns a solid 8/10."
