The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii all served as revolutionary pillars for the gaming industry over the past eight years, and they each housed some of the most memorable, breathtaking and unforgettable games we've seen to this day. This year saw another round of impressive games launch from various publishers and developers, but this year saw the main focus of the gaming industry shift away from the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. With the Wii taking its bow last year, we wanted to crown the game we thought proved to be the absolute best over the course of the entire generation of content.
