News::Batman: Arkham Origins Review | GIZORAMA

GIZORAMA - As both a hardcore gamer and Batman fan, I can safely say that there was a time I thought the two worlds would never meet successfully. Failed attempts at superhero games were common place and many fans started to let go of the hope they had once shared for the potential in this genre. But when all seemed lost and the book was almost closed on this tale, the Dark Knight himself (along with some help from developer Rocksteady) returned to save the day with 2009s genre defining Batman: Arkham Asylum. The critical and commercial success of Arkham Asylum was immediate cementing it as one of the best games of its generation and this high standard was maintained in Rocksteadys 2011 sequel, Batman: Arkham City. City ended on even higher sales figures and review scores than its predecessor and fully established Arkham as a franchise, not just a game.
