Game-Over writes: 'I had a conversation a while ago about film history and how it relates to video games. A lot of people seem to think that the current software generation is roughly analogous to the 1940s, where the medium got its first big signature works and found its teeth. Im inclined to think its closer to the 60s and 70s, where the medium is fully ingrained in the public consciousness and its limits are being pushed by a small group of experimental creators.'
