Blood Dragon is intended to be taken for what it is: a joke. Doing so reveals how dumb Rex really is. It reveals how fake the whole concept is. It reveals that the spirit of the 80s action genre, once a vision for modern entertainment and genuine fandom, is nothing but exaggerated motivations and regurgitated expletives.
