Corsual's EXP writes: "Dead Island: Riptide, soon to be known as Dead Island: On Another Island is stale entry into the first-person-whack-a-zombie genre that, like its predecessor, Dead Island, places a group of survivors on a tropical island filled with zombies that need to be kicked, stomped, stabbed or blown away, so that said survivors can stay... well, survivors. Basic RPG mechanics and a lacklustre plot fail miserably in their attempt to cloak the monotonous, tiring gameplay; though, as with the first, thousands of mindless zombie fans are likely going to love it all the same. "
