Ross Hartley: "Aliens: Colonial Marines is a bad first-person shooter, no doubt about it. It's unsatisfying combat, the lack of variety and overall ugliness adds up to make a game that most people would be better of avoiding like the plague. Some Aliens fans will enjoy certain aspects about the game though, whether it's the Pulse Rifle or the environments and they might feel compelled to give the game a shot at some point. Even though they might have moments of entertainment, they will still be bitterly disappointed when all is said and done."
