Last Saturday, Sega and Gallery Nucleus opened the doors to the Yakuza 6 "Essence of Art" Exhibit in California with a whole bunch of fan tribute art and the huge announcement of Kiwami 2 coming to the states. As exciting as that must have been, just getting a look at the recreation of Kamurocho Gate would have been enough for me. Sadly, I won't be able to head to California before the gallery closes on April 1, but I can watch this short video about the event.
Fans turned out in droves for what must have been the most Japanese thing California has ever seen. People were even gambling in the streets, which is just bonkers. Why did I have to be on vacation (and then get stuck for a few days)?
