It's crazy to think that at this point, Bayonetta is basically a Nintendo property. She's been featured in their biggest fighting game franchise, hosted two exclusives, and two ports of the original. Nintendo made Bayonetta 2 and 3 possible and series director Hideki Kamiya seems to be very happy with his relationship with his publisher.
So much so in fact, that Bayonetta 3 doesn't seem to be the end of things. Speaking candidly on Twitter, Kamiya stated something to the effect of "Well, I have plans for the fourth [Bayonetta]," when asked whether or not the series was going to continue.
I'd love to live in a world where Bayonetta and a proper Capcom Devil May Cry co-exist and challenge each other. It's a great time to be an action game fan -- but isn't it always?
