A few weeks ago, Arc System Works announced that a "Game Balance Refinement Update" would be heading to anime fighter Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2. Some new details have finally been uncovered for said update, which goes live on consoles next month.
The refinement update will feature balance changes for various characters, as well as stamping out bugs across the board. The fishing mode will be adjusted so that players with more than ten fish can still acquire all items. Fixes will also be made to the game's Training Mode, with regard to text display issues and other "problem content"
In addition to these changes, Online is being tweaked to improve delay value processing, which should enable smoother gameplay when rekking internet heads. The PlayStation 3 version will receive some specific fixes, including a fix to Zato-1's animation in Training Mode, and the removal of an issue in Chapter One of Story Mode, that has been present since the previous update.
The new patch will go live on the console versions of Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2 on March 1. A PC version of the patch will arrive at a later date. Full details, in Japanese, can be read in the official PDF right here.
