Hi-Rez studios announced that its team based shooter, Paladins, will be getting a new "battle royale" mode called Paladins: Battlegrounds. Lack of originality aside, this new 100 man free-for-all will be the first "battle royale" to feature hero powers, which could make for an interesting twist on the sub-genre.
