As is the case with most of EA's big games, Star Wars Battlefront II (read: not Star Wars: Battlefront 2, that old game that is still better than most recent Battlefront entries) will be available in early access form before launch.
Available across the confusingly named EA (console) and Origin (PC) Access fronts, it'll drop on November 9, eight days before its November 17 release. We don't know yet what that trial will entail, but previously the publisher locked solo progress while offering unfettered multiplayer.
Given the hype a Star Wars game usually comes with, I hope they get it right this time. EA really missed the mark with the last Star Wars Battlefront.
