Metro: "Is Ubisofts new open world game really the driving equivalent of Destiny? And if it is does it avoid the potholes of Bungies game? The Crew is not a bad game. Perhaps we shouldnt sound so surprised, but after the generally negative reaction to the beta, and a typically botched launched, our hopes were not high. Especially not with fellow open world racer Forza Horizon 2 already having done so much to impress this year. But if not for a series of contradictory design decisions this could also have been one of the best driving games of the year. Instead its just an odd mix of the good, the bad, and the online-only."
