Earlier this month cinematic virtual reality (VR) company Jaunt revealed a new VR experience based on The Hobbit movie franchise to celebrate the release of the last entry in the series, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The piece, titled The Hobbit VR Experience, was recently launched on the Android mobile operating system (OS) as a free app with full support for the Google Cardboard smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD). Now it has also arrived on the Oculus Rift HMD for both PC and Mac.
