News::Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is 2014's Christmas number one - UK Charts

Eurogamer: "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is the UK's Christmas 2014 number one. Activision's aggressive price promotion on PlayStation 4 sparked a 33 per cent rise in sales last week, fending off stiff competition from rival publisher EA's FIFA 15, which saw an eight per cent rise in sales. Chart-Track called it revenge for Activision, whose Call of Duty: Ghosts lost out on last year's Christmas number one to EA's FIFA 14, which benefited from a price promotion of its own. It's all big hitters in the top 10. Grand Theft Auto 5 is third with a 16 per cent rise in sales. The PS4 version was the top-selling game for an individual format, so Rockstar can claim a moral victory."
