At GamesCom 2014, Microsoft and Square Enix announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider would be exclusive to Xbox for Holiday 2015, in those exact words. What followed was a lot of fan reaction on the internet, with Microsoft and Square Enix PR going back and forth on whether or not this meant it was timed exclusive or permanently exclusive, and rightly so, Tomb Raider fans are very upset. Since then Microsoft has confirmed that the deal has a duration, confirming timed exclusivity. Regardless of this PR disaster on Square Enixs part, some fans made some artwork expressing their feelings.
