This year, Blizzard reinstated their wish to ship World of Warcraft expansion packs in a yearly basis. The popular BlizzCon RedShirtGuy from Blizzplanet formulates the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor might be shipped on Summer 2014. In order to come to this conclusion, the RedShirtGuy analyzed trends of release dates of previous World of Warcraft expansions and compared them against the release dates of novel tie-ins. These novels were shipped a month or two prior to the expansion pack's release date. The book publisher, Simon & Schuster, Inc., has set a release date for the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor novel tie-in titled "War Crimes" which sets in motion the escape of Garrosh Hellscream as a follow up to the Siege of Orgrimmar raid. An indication that the expansion might be shipping on Summer 2014 instead of the usual November range.
